Presented with difficult transition challenges within his own family, Richard took the lead for his grandparents and parents downsizing projects and soon realized there was a significant need for transitional services for other families facing similar challenges. He started Smooth Transitions of Central North Carolina to provide a truly meaningful “full scope” service specializing in the senior market and also serve empty nesters, people with Disabilities, Divorces and others struggling with life transitions.
Richard has over 25 years of leadership and management experience within the healthcare, photography, biometrics, patient safety and security space. He has always been drawn to environments that serve others. He is a highly regarded as a dynamic leader and project management expert with a proven track record of success. For the past 15 years Richard has led at the executive level for organizations that primarily serve hospitals across the United States in Vice President and Director level roles. Most recently and prior to starting Smooth Transitions of Central North Carolina Richard worked closely with the National Center for Missing Exploited Children.
Richard brings his wealth of knowledge, management and technical expertise to provide a much-needed full turnkey transition service to our community. Richard has a passion for working with those in need by bringing exceptional interpersonal and technological skills to solve challenges that ultimately exceed client expectations. Richard is a proud member of the National Association for Senior Move Managers, A Smooth Transitions Licensed Business Owner and North Carolina Licensed Auction Firm Agent. He is trustworthy, warm, caring and possesses a servants heart that courageously attacks any challenge put in front of him for the better good of his client and team members. When not working you will find him spending time with his loving wife and 4 children.
